Pornhub, the premiere online destination for adult entertainment, today announced actress, author and musician Bella Thorne will receive the prestigious Vision Award for the directorial debut of her film “Her & Him” at the company’s 2nd Annual Awards Show on October 11th. Pornhub also announced the addition of Grammy-nominated R&B singer/songwriter/producer Ty Dolla $ign as a musical performer for the show, joining Bad Bunny, Ian Isiah, Kali Uchis, Rico Nasty and Tommy Genesis.

“It was a pleasure working alongside Bella to debut her film, ‘Her & Him’ as part of our Visionary Director’s Series and help create genre-defying content that will appeal to our fast-growing – and increasingly diverse – audience. We’re excited to honor her at our upcoming awards show on October 11th and to present her with the prestigious Vision Award,” said Corey Price, Vice President, Pornhub.

Bella Thorne directed a film for Pornhub earlier this year as part of the company’s “Visionaries Director’s Series,” which features debut films by unexpected guest directors in an effort to diversify porn production and help create more varied content. Thorne’s film, titled “Her & Him,” depicts an edgy twenty-something guy who stumbles upon a surprise text in his girlfriend’s phone, interrupting their morning routine and spinning everything into an out-of-control sexually charged encounter. The film stars well-known adult entertainment actors Abella Danger and Small Hands and features music from rapper Mod Sun. The film debuted at The Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany and is currently available exclusively on Pornhub Premium.

“Her & Him” is the third installment of Pornhub’s Visionaries Director’s Club, which began in 2018. Well-known rapper Young M.A. kickstarted the Visionaries Director’s Club becoming the first mainstream artist to direct a pornographic film for Pornhub, debuting her film “The Gift.” Recently, artist Brooke Candy made her directorial debut on the site with her feature film, “I Love You.” At the inaugural Pornhub Awards in 2018, Young M.A received the first-ever Visionary Award for her directorial debut.

”I’m honored to receive this award. I’m excited for visions of beauty like this to be shed in a new light,” said Bella Thorne. “Breaking the taboo of what’s classified as beautiful has always been a vision of mine and it brings me such joy to see this being recognized for what it truly is…beautiful visionary art.”
